About me
Experience
Hello! My name is Phillip Kerley. I am a current undergraduate student at Old Dominion University, studying Music Education (instrumental). I am originally from Seoul, South Korea but have been living in Prince George County, Virginia for the past decade. I started my music career in 7th grade on alto saxophone, but quickly moved to bari saxophone. At the start of high school, I moved on to Tuba and continued playing tenor sax, bari sax, and tuba all throughout high school. I have traveled the country playing music and have been a part of various differing ensembles. After graduation, I intend on teaching at the K-12 level while also earning my masters in music performance. In 10 years, I would like to be a professor at a college, teaching marching band, brass techniques, and offering private lessons on tuba and euphonium.
